Could someone tell me the main things to tell him.As he wont probably have the spare parts.
Ive got a 1995 Nissan Mistral. Thanking you.

TBH the garage should now what a full service is 8O well a basic full service we used to do was, replace oil, air & fuel filters, engine oil, check & top up washer bottle, radiator, break fluid or change if it needed it, powersteering fluid, check & grease battery terminals. Check all lights, wiper & washers. Strip & clean front & rear brakes & replace if to worn, readjust handbrake. check & adjust tyre preasures & tyre treads, check all suspension parts & stearing, check exhaust for leaks & condition, check fuel lines & brake lines & tappets if needed ie OHV engines. There is a few other things but can't think at the min as i'm not under a car

Thanks sweety that'll keep him busy.

Check oil level in autobox, change oil in both diffs remember rear is lsd.check operation of 4wd.

hummingbird can you please PM me with the instructions on how you can post PDF doc.s off the manual on the site?

Even better can you post the instructions for others as it would be great for other members.

Cheers

I think the biggest service is a D3 and it costs £300+!!!! they check everthing and them give you a massive list telling you all the faults and a price that is more than the value of the car to put right

They love telling you your drop links, drag links are exessively worn. They will also tell you the wheel bearings need adjusting and if they read the schedule it tells them to regrease and adjust as part of the schedule  I've had a couple of arguments about that one, I used to have to go to nissan for the warranty
