yup....but that says food grade etc, all I want is some rubber hose :nenau

I seem to remember the food gradestuff being good for veggie oil and bio
Ideally you need a hose that won't collapse under suction, so a strong walled one like a braided is best .

ok, ill do that and order some now. I cant see anything suitable on Oilybits, and ideally I need the pipe for the weekend so need to order tonight..

It's defo on there but they use strange oily pipe terminology. Ring him in the morning, he'll know the biz and still post out tomorrow :thumbs

ok, ill try to be patient. I figured I may ring a local motor factors as well for a price, be better if I could just go and buy some.:thumbs

When I replaced mine recently I used Nissan parts, from front to back flow and return how much do you reckon? They come already to fit ie, shaped and bent to fit.

well, got my hose from a local auto factors, nothing special I don't think but will attempt to start fitting tonight. I noticed the screws holding the plate down were rock solid, have sprayed with WD40, but any tips on removal??

umm....ok....so any tips on removing the plate covering the tank then? I am worried that the large screws are going to get rounded off as they are a little rusty and extremely tight...

They will probably shear off Try with a 10mm socket , better than a screw driver :thumbs Also worth a quick tighten 1st, then more WD40 then slowly back and forth off

hi chaps, hoping for some hints and tips!!

firstly, I need to remove the plate covering the fuel tank access in the boot. There are three screws holding it down (one has sheared off previously) but I cant get them loose and two are already nearly rounded off. I cant get pliers round them and they are flat/dome type screws.

Any tips on removal with minimal damage to the plate? I tried whacking with a chisel and hammer, no joy, but I am being careful.

secondly, despite the fuel line needing to be replaced, I cant start the car. I think the battery is flat so I have put it on charge (indicator suggests its flat). When I try to start its just a "click". Previously it was getting slower to start because it has been stood and not driven - flat battery from trying?

may be a bit late now but an impact gadget and hammer is a good start, pretty cheap at Machine Mart,

alrighty, ill try that. I remembered that I actually have a bolt extractor tool so I am going to try that as well, if that fails, then a dremel.:thumbs

I read this, and thought I would post up my answer, got to the end, and you beat me to it... Drill out the bolts, or use a Dremil to grind the heads off.
