Fuel lines leaking from above rear spring argh!!

Hi lads and lassies,

So i was on my way to perth at 6.30am this morning and noticed my fuel guage traveling quicker than normal, jumped out and pow! Fuel leaking out from the back drivers side spring turret area.

So new fuel lines are needed and today if possible, what tools will i need, and what size/ length of fuel lines? Now im newish to mechanics so dont go to technical here haha. Is it doable by a newbie with basic mechanic skills?

And do i have to jack it up as my jacks at my yard ha
 
You will need 8mm internal diameter hose for the feed to the engine and 6 mm internal diameter for the return hose.
No special tools needed and you should be able to get underneath without a jack.
 
ace, ive read the fuel line replacement bit in the how to section so i can just connect it back to where the pipes solid yeah? grand off to halfords i go
 
I would run the house from right at the tank all the way to the return on the pump.
 
Could only find single 1m connections at halfrauds and europarts were even worse. Its already got 3/8ths rubber pipe down to below the drivers seat. So to do to the engine from pump what length will i need roughly? 5m?
 
All fixed new lines in and alls good. Although i did notice small rust patches everywhere underneath so time for waxoyl i recon
