Corroded at the front. Have replace with hose, but was a wee bit quick and remove both pipes at the same time and now don't know which is which :doh

You have the pipe attached to the arch (return I guess) or the pipe that goes into the injector pump. There is a top and bottom steel pipe to attach to. Which goes to which?

Alternatively, guess and see if the engine fails to get fuel and cuts out?

Also, I used 8mm internal for both return and feed - does it really matter?

Its ok, got it sorted. Used a bit of common sense and measured the existing steel pipe. It looks the same to the eye. Feed is top, the big one that goes to the fuel filter. Bottom is return that goes to injector pump.

Sometimes my confidence to work these things out is lacking!
