Hi all, hope everyone is well.

Looking for recommendations for best material for replacing fuel lines, tank to engine bay on my Terrano 3 litre. I know the IDs are 6mm and 10mm and been thinking of using either opaque polyurethane or synthetic rubber composite.

Any thoughts, pros and cons?

Cheers,

Mick

I use beer line python pipe not sure exactly what it is made of but if it will put up with cola syrup etc then fuel is not a problem, besides been using it for years, no problem, you might even be able to cadge some from your local pub they usually have some kicking around just rinse it out first, Rick

Cheers Rick, hadn't heard of beer tubing been used for diesel but it makes sense.

When I replaced the whole fuel lines on Terrance I used Kunifer, it doesn't work harden like copper will and it's proper hard. Having ran vegetable oil for long periods of time, I'd never use anything plastic based again. I've tried that beer pipe that Rick is referring to and it just swole and burst after a while. I also used some other clear stuff off eBay and that just went really hard and then brittle

Cheers Banshee, yes I could use Kunifer with some rubber connections at front and back.
