Fuel heater for 1997 terrano2tdi

Hi all, Both terrano's are running well 97 running on 50% veg oil for about 6yrs now,but i w ould like the fuel filter heated by engine cooling system(that don't make sense do it!) but anyway water running thru engine could be diverted and run around filter as i had in the peugeot 306 and 405 models, could or would it be poss.? 02 terrano running well also different pump so still running this one on diesel.

Wouldnt help at all from starting from cold as water would be cold?
Theres electrical heatrrs on the market

so this guy is taking the piss its just a bit of wire wrapped around a fuel filter and some electrical tape for a tenner who is he kidding and you still need a switched power souce off a relay and inline fuse cheeky fecker

this would be better easy fix to your fuel filter

You'll be lucky, mine just about warms my my heaters after 5-6 miles if I'm lucky

Mine is blowing Luke warm after just a 3/4 of a mile and gets so hot I have to open a window heated seats r nice

you can buy an adaptor for your fuel filter, I sold one on here a little while ago as it was on my off road motor and did not need it, not sure where you get them from but a search on Ebay should find one, it is a Ali block that fits tween filter and head, with connections that you cut into the heater hose, Rick

Fuel filter heater

Hi i have used this fuel filter heater on my maverick it heats any fuel that goes through it. i use my main fuel tank for oil and a jerry can in the boot with diesel for start up it goes through a 3 way valve with a switch on the dash. start up on diesel when temp gauge goes up i flick the switch over to run on oil and just before i get home i flick the switch back to stop on diesel so in the morning it is ready to start on diesel. easy no cold start problems.

Do you not use a return on the diesel then ?
