Hi
Does the 99 Terrano have a low fuel warning light? When I picked it up off of Panelbeater it kindly had 3/4 full tank. Ive done 300 miles and the gauge is touching red. Just wondered if it had a light or im pushing my luck on getting home tonight? :D

Yep there is a low fuel warning light that lights up in Orange :thumb2

As long as it is working, it normally comes on just as you hit the red, and gives about 30miles in the tank... not when you are towing though!!:doh

Thanks guys. Will see if i can get the light on while heading home tonight. Either way ill let have a little drink of oil and some of panelbeaters special mix

Panelbeater probably traded the bulb to a chip shop for some veg :lol :hide:

I noticed on my T2 the orange light is almost invisible in daylight, and hidden away in the far left of the dashboard...

Yes I made it back home, probably on the vapours by then. Atleast I know how far it can be pushed it before refill now. Lights all working too. :thumbs

:clap:clap

Just remember, how much the car is loaded, how familiar you are with the roads/truck, and the weather all have a big impact on that last bit of fuel after the light comes on.

I once made it 40miles with the light on when I first got the truck, and was driving it like a grandad, but I ran out of fuel after 15miles, on the motorway with a caravan on the back. Luckily I had pulled off and could see the garage. :doh
