Hi everybody,

Just changed a fuel filter , cleaned mini filter and after priming it the car had started running but I have noticed that the fuel filter knob had been pulled down. Had no much power after that. Tried to bypass the fuel filter with an in line filter and car is fine.
Just thinking that the fuel filter housing is broken. Am I right or is there anything else to go wrong?

Thanks

being as the inline one works it would seem that the main filter is at fault.i had one do that as well.

if the primer is down it's struggling to pull the fuel through, coul dbe a blockage somewhere or a dodgy filter

will try to get another fuel filter to start with.

if you bypassed the filter housing and all was good then the pipe from the tank is good, plunger pulled down is blockage on inlet side of filter, now we know the tank pipe is good so has to be debris in the inlet banjo, Rick
