After revelling in the way my T2 handled in the snow yesterday and picking up colleagues with 'lesser' vehicles to get them to work, I was left with egg on my face this morning when I had to walk the 5 miles to work this morning because I coudn't get the bloody doors open.
Admittedly the temperature had dropped to -11 overnight, but I was a bit annoyed to say the least.
I have just had a call to say that she has managed to open the car, but only with the key and park it in the sun for now, however what can I spray the lock with tonight to stop this happening again. Its supposed to be -9 later!
When trying to open it with the remote fob all I could hear was a faint click, and not the customary clunk of the lock. I really hope I haven't knackered the door lock
I am thinking WD40 or De Icer?
Regards
Alan
