Front Wiper Arms

Hi guys I’ve got the usual squeaking front wiper arms, changed blades done alsorts. Last thing to try is what fixed my 05 plate, remove arms and squirt liquid grease down pivots. Just like my 05 plate my 54 plate the arms just won’t budge. Left them soaking with plus gas but I’m pretty sure that’ll not do much. On my 05 plate I had to get quite brutal which left the plastic panel with some deep scuffs. I’d rather not get so brutal this time, so out came a puller that I picked up some time ago but the arms are too fat to fit.

Has anyone got some tips please.

I have never had a problem getting wiper arms off, just raise them to 90 degrees then give them some back and forth effort opposite to the pivot, they fall off, Rick

what i normally do if they are stuck is pull them back and a little tap with a small hammer frees them up it the aluminium that tends to corrode them to the spindles but only had to this a couple of times mostly just try rocking them side to side will sort it
