i've had to lower my front suspesion, because it was knocking on the rebound, i cant remember the hight now, the rear was 1.5" different from side to side , are the springs the same lenth when new, read somewhere that the o/s could be a bit longer to compensate for driver, but im not sure what vehicle that was on. :nenau:naughty

Thats on the Patrol. terrano springs are the same both sides, someone may have fitted a SWB spring as a replacement for a broken one.

Good thread :clap :bow

Just gonna ask a silly question :doh

Irrelevant as to weather or not you need to reset your torsion bar

If you were to wind it up to the max or until you couldn't go any further / higher :nenau

What damage would it do  if any, ignoring the shock movement / rebound / handling etc

Would it put to much on the drive shafts

bugger all your bushes and steering components, excessive wear on drive shafts, ball joints all at crap angles

itll bounce down the road and feel like its tripping over on corners

you will be like driving with only the one front wheel on the front cos they wont follow the dips in the road

eventually you will kill yourself or somone else

breaking will be crap

is that enough :nenau

:thumbs

To level it up if thats all you want to do, then yes.

Can't think who but theres a few people with lifted LWBs on here so they may still have their std springs if you ask nicely.
