Got this clunk and groan on full lock. Seems more suspension than cv joints. Its only after a certain lock is exceeded.
Whats interesting is the previous one i had from new used to do it as well. Typically when pulling into a parking space and breaking.
Is it common? Whats the cause?

Full lock is arriving a bit earlier than what im used to!
:)

dunow what you are used to, but for a 4 wheel drive LWB these have a very good turning circle, just do not hold the wheel hard and all will be cured, I have never bothered to grease mine and if I get the noise I know I am holding it on lock too hard, it makes no difference to the turning circle, Rick

And the squeal will be the PS belt slipping cause the pump is working so hard to hold the steering on the stops - as said above, relax your grip a tiny bit, problems solved. Though your belt probably needs tightening or replacing too
