Does anyone know where I can get a replacement front speaker from please?

I have looked on line don't really want to pay too much as vehicle getting on and I mainly listen to speech.

I would just measure the diameter - check the impedance - it should be written on the old unit usually 6 Ohms in many older cars then get one on the Internet - you might have to improvise on the screw fittings.

Is it a door speaker ? Might be connected with the locking issue if it is - this would point to door wiring loom wires broken.

Thanks I have done that already bit would prefer a straight replacement.

I decided to replace the speakers as a pair and bought a pair of
Pioneer TS-G690 Coaxial speakers from Halfords for 35GBP.
I was able to take the old speaker along and it looks like they should fit
fine. I will hopefully let you know how I get on.

They fitted fine and sound better than the very basic speakers my Nissan Pathfinder Trek came with. I had to cut off 2 small plastic pins on the top of the door speaker mount point. Screw holes lined up exactly.

Surprisingly the new speakers did not have any polarity markings. Large spade terminal is +Ve and there were none on the speaker removed. I re-used the Nissan connector on the old speaker having identified which of the two terminals was +ve, connecting them to the supplied spade connectors and cable tying the conn. to the speaker chassis.
