Does anyone know if there is something common to both pumps to stop them working? The only thing I have done under bonnet is remove earth terminal from battery and wedge behind the battery whilst it was welded.

I think they share the same pump and reservoir don't they? If so it could just be the fuse, if not try checking to see if you have 12v to the pump when the button is pushed, then check the earth continuity :thumb2

My terrano has two seperate pumps

hmm..i wonder if ive looked at mine wrong? where are both your pumps? im sure mines only got one....

then again, i suppose fuse wise its easy enough to check, but i wonder if the pump has been disconnected from the bottle...

Well I wanted a few ideas to look atbefore I delve in at the weekend. There's no noise from the pump or pumps and no water. Do I get to them from under the plastic arch liner?

is one of them not for headlight washers,if you have them fitted:nenau

my front screen washer packed up, found I had trapped the hose when I changed the air cleaner:doh:doh

Found it after following the hoses

Well I've taken the plastic wing trim and the plastic wing protector out and besides discovering lots of rust. I still can't get to the washer pump? Am I right in thinking that I need to take the battery out and then the glow plug relay to get to it? or is there another way?

Theres a pump for the front and a pump for the rear AFAIK.

Can't you just follow the screen wash pipework backwards? I had a feeling that they were near the bottom of the fluid reservoir but I've been wrong before LOL
