hi all
just fitted a front pipe and i must say who ever designed the t2 wants shooting, i cant beleave you got to take the gearbox cross member and front prop shaft off just to get it out, what a lot work i must say.
but it went all ok no broken nuts or bolts and all for the pricely sum of £30, cant be bad.
all nicely checked over for me holiday to newquay cornwall in a couple of weeks.
cheers eboy.

Hi all,

I changed mine some time ago and I'm sure i did not have to do any of that, but i did have use of a pit which does make it easier, but if I'm wrong someone will be shortly to put me right i'm sure.

rustygates.

i used a 2 poster ramp at work and i tried to get it out without taking anything off and it just dont wanna come out someone did tell me you had to take the torsion bar off which is bollox

Did you have to heat the studs on the Turbo to get the nuts off:nenau

I did on my T2, scared that I would snap them:doh which I didn't:thumbs

no i think they been off before so just went for it and lucky enough they came undone but one was a new stud .

On the SWB the pipe will come out ok, without the need to remove any extras, did mine not long back.

Seem to remember the need to remove the cross member on the LWB I had.

£30 is cheap eboy
