Hi guys,
Well on my way home tonight my steering went notchy and the truck started to steer terribly. Pulled over to check the steering and the front offside wheel was not how it should be. Turned it full lock and managed to see the upper wishbone mount sheered from the chassis.
Managed to creep her the last 100 yrds home and onto the drive.
I'll pop the wheel off tomorrow morning and will post the damage for everyones enjoyment.
While posting I'll ask, has anyone got a Terrano they're scrapping for parts who fancy cutting and selling the offside chassis leg from just behind the suspension rear link to the front of the wheel arch including the suspension mounts?
Worth a try as I'd prefer to cut and weld in what I need rather than fabricate by hand.
