Drill out the oldM6 bolts if they are there. Then re tap with M8 :rolleyes:
The std 6mm bolts stand little chance. M10 would be ideal but there's not enough nut for that .

Ah ok so it is the captive nuts I can see. I'm sure they're clear of broken studs so should be a doddle :thumb2 How many in total?
 
Now took a ganders and the 3 front fixings are clear and straight forward. However, there's only 1 fixing at the rear that has a nut:confused: so my plan is this.
Drill out the rear holes and weld a couple of m8 or m10 nuts to the outside and bolt through. Could drill and tap the front three to m8 as suggested but could do the same as the rear :D

BUT FIRST:beer: things could change after. :lol
 
Spot on T-Doug. There's a captive nut missing at the rear:thumb2 I'll get them sorted and at the Wales meet all i will need to do is open up the holes in Ricks guard and bolt it on. May even bring a wire brush and some paint. :thumbs
