Nice easy little job to do this morning, or so I thought. :doh
14,16,17 and 19mm spanners, 17 and 19mm sockets (and 21mm if you count taking the wheel off), a crowbar, hammer, hacksaw, and big screwdriver :(
The bottom nut was seized and took just enough of the thread off to make normal removal impossible.
Had to lever the roll bar up and cut through the "bolt" part. Got almost all the way through before I remembered you need to leave it in place to get the top undone.
That was seized too so I had to hammer the 16mm spanner over the shoulder to stop it turning.
I would have taken photos for a download but I was too worried my camera might seize.
Snapped my key off in the front door as well. buggerbuggerbuggerbugger.
On a brighter note, I found another Camac Terra in great condition for £20 :D

no problem, if the bottom one was that bad the top will need a disc cutter/grinder to remove it

Thought I'd post in case anyone else came across the same problem.
No room for a grinder in there. There's barely room for a hack saw !
Just cut through the bottom "bolt" with the hacksaw, and hammer a 16mm spanner over the shoulder of the top part to stop it turning. Simples.

I did think about it, but the handling was horrible with one dodgy drop link. Felt like it was sliding round corners :nenau

i have been considering removing my arb's
I presume you mean off the Izzizzuzzu :sly
Joking apart mate it is a serious move not to be taken lightly AND if you are mad enough to do it, TELL THE INSURANCE:rolleyes:
