hello iv got a 2004 lwb terrano and the front drivers side is low compaired to the passengers side, iv not got a tape measure out yet but on the passengers side I can get my whole hand in between the top of the tyre and bottom of the arch but on the drivers side I can only get 3 fingers so it must be 40/50mm lower. iv had the wheels off and I can't see anything thats bent or looks out of place and it passed an m.o.t like this, iv put two new shocks on the front and thats not helped either! can anyone come up with any ideas? oh yeah when I go over a big bump in a road theres a bang from the drivers side, cheers

hmm...could be torsion bars need adjusting, or something is broke. the bang could be suspension-could you see the mount? How did the drop links look? The linkages down there are plenty, so have another look and do the "suspension test" by bouncing the corners and listen for the issue...

First thing is tyre pressures ;)

Then jack up and look for damage, bent arms, loose bolts, has torsion bar slipped or come out and stripped

Then adjust torsion bars

ive been thinking about torsion bar adjust*how high can you go with out doing any damage to the truck? I read that it can affect the camber and damage the ball joints?
