Got a little problem under heavy breaking my maverick pulls to the left also the wheel is getting quite hot.Im assuming sticking caliper. Is it a case of working the piston back and forth to free it off? Also what other problems might I run into once I start this.

Cheers Gav

The calliper has sliders which need to be greased, easy job as long as there not seized.

Agreed, siezed sliders

I snapped one trying to free it, get a blow torch on it for starters and loads of wd40 up the rubber, try and get slight movement back and forth until it loosens

Cheers guys will give this ago Mot due on Friday..

If your brakes are pulling, you may find the pads are worn on one side, so you may want to renew these, easy and worth while, plus it shows the MOT man you care about your truck :thumb2

Was thinking of changing the pads might aswell really..

Cheers Gav

Sorted I think both sliders were seized on the passanger side aswell as the bottom one on the drivers side loads of heat and wd helped all greased up just waiting for the brake pads to arrive.
