Don't think there is mate, but I remember James selling me the wrong side once, I only realised when it wouldn't bleed right and then it hit me that the bleed nipple was the wrong way up.

It wasn't funny at the time but looking back I can chuckle now :lol

cheers banshee:thumb2
i thought they where the same but just wanted to check before i buy anything.

If you get the part number for the year in which your T2 was built, you are (relatively) sure to get the proper part...

I've used Nissan4u in the past to check parts nrs.

Having just refurbed my own calipers I wish I'd just bought new ones
The handing by the way is only the bleed nipple issue. The calliper itself is the same but has a blank where the nip should be. It could be drilled out if you have the right reemer for the nipple seat.

I have a pair for sale if needed fella can get ya pics first if ya want they're from a 98t2 swb

What's the issue with the refurb?
Have done caliper rebuilds before but not on the terrano.
I've got one sticky piston on the passenger side.
Got it working again without a complete strip down at the weekend but there is a bit of pitting on the cylinder after being cleaned up with emery paper.
Put some rubber grease on the seals but it still doesn't feel right under braking.

time isn't really an issue for me as the terrano is our second motor.
can get a kit for 30 quid and spend as long as it takes to rebuild it so might go that route:nenau

Indeed , that's what I did, it's more satisfying but time is always an issue for me.
Enjoy mate :D

I rebuilt my dads elgrand calipers yesterday after one had seized. new seal and a piston £50 and about an hour job done in the sun simples as new caliper for that is £200. No point in second hand sometimes as can be just as bad or worse

Motor factors £60 I think it cost me
