OK from experience I know that these things seem to wear at an alarming rate - especially if use the truck off road - Which I do.
Question 1 is do the poly one wear any better than the ones get from Milner off road or ebay ?
Or am I better making some from say a old rubber mallet ? Or any other suggestions ?
Question 2 is does it actually need them ? From road car experiance (mostly Subaru) the ARB is polyutherane / rubber for noise / vibration reasons and a common thing to is replace them with steel / solid links to sharpen the handling up.
Wuld this be a sensible thing to do on a Terrano - replace with metal inserts - or does it use the compression of the rubbers on the drop links for greater articualtion ?
Also I now a few have mentioned removing all the arbs but only want to remove the front one as this is the one that seems to wear most on mine, but concered about the effect of handing mostly.
Thoughts / ideas most welcome
