Has anyone got a front Anti-roll bar for sale, preferably in the South East, as I guess it would be prohibitively expensive to post.

Ever since I had my car, one of the holes that the drop link goes through was elongated. When I got the car, the tie rod that side had not been tightened up and slopped about wearing it. When I replaced it, I put a washer on either side to spread the hole, but it has obviously still moved around, and it has now got worse over the last 3 years, and is just short of breaking through.

I've got one spare, Won't cost much to post Maybe like 10-15 quid. Will check condition tonight.

Could it have a plate welded to it, or would it affect the hardness?
The washer each side could have been better if they were welded to save them moving.:nenau

they are spring steel, any welding will affect it, Rick

As Rick says, I would worry welding would effect the metal. The ends are very thin in comparison to the rest of the bar as well.

It is easy enough to change especially as I already have to change the drop links and I may as well change the bushes while I am doing it.

Thanks to RJL Services and Fez_uk for your very kind offers, I managed to meet up with Rick and get one off of him, so I am sorted now.

I thought with all of the rain issues Rick has been having, taking up his valuable time, and not wanting to put any more on his shoulders, I would ask on here first, but as usually, the man is a Saint, and came up trumps.

Hope you got the fridge compressor sorted out in the end. Thank You :bow
