A very worried police man had to sit on my very comfy bench seat with me. Caused all sorts of bother cause it didnt have seat belts , but he eventually agreed it was ok for the test. Massive beast at 3 1/2 tons, but the car could take it:lol

We used to pile into a mk2 jag and take a trip up the motorway for fun:eek::lol:lol

Tell me about it. I had the jag when I worked in London. For a laugh we'd often nip up the shops with her indoors in the back. I'd do the door opening thing and escort her to the door.:lol
We had an old house phone in it for her ladyships instructions to be passed to the front:D
Had crossply tyres on it when I first got it and it would squeal like a yank car on the roundabouts and NCP etc:cool:
15mpg though:( less if you gave it the boot:naughty

O happy days when petrol was cheap and when driving on normal roads was fun. the old jags were a great buy all leather and great engines. Monsters. I had an e type 4.2 2+2 fixed head I could hardly touch the pedels and people thought it was driving itself :lol:lol
lovely sound and the smell of the leather was fantastic too big for me though sadly:( Sold it to a guy who wrapped it round a tree:doh he was ok
