This is going to be intresting, i have both types as i have a 97 Maverick and a 2000 Terrano, when i took the Terrano apart at the weekend, it look like the whole thing was the reverse to the Maverick. Bits that fit on the shaft on the Terrano are in the hub on the Mav. I hope im wrong though.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained! :thumbs

I am interested in this, because if the autos fit, then so should the after market manuals! :thumb2

Any pics ? Got the bits but need a few pics

Could do with exploded views, might get on the search in a bit

have you checked all the downloads, there are several. But there should be a two piece brake ring, a large thin spring and a few cir clips (snap rings)

My exploded view is in the download section matey. Only for the Mav though.

the hub should be the same, I used to buy parts for auto hubs on my T2's from Ford as they were cheaper, and quicker, but came in Nissan bags :nenau

to be honest I don't miss auto hubs at all :doh

Not even looked at it

Tbh I will prolly put them on eBay as I don't think they will fit from what I've read

Will have a play with them at some point, way I figure tho is that fixed hubs are the strongest for offroading now I've thought about it a bit more :D

I have never had any joy with autos, on or off road, but i would consider manual hubs as a fixed hub replacement if they were available :thumb2
