thanks makeitfit

i have discovered my local motor factor supplier doesnt supply wishbone bushes and ill have to purchase them from ebay or nissan.
what i wondered was, is there a supplier of aftermarket "poly" bushes for the terrano.
i wonder because on my volvo they are also a common problem to go wrong and some people have said "poly" bushes cure the tyre wear issue for years.

Poly bushes avail from Milners but I'm not sure how many they do.
There are so many ruddy bushes on the T2 and all have an effect obviously. You'll just need to check all methodically.
Good luck:thumbs

should get you the R20 page.

full alignment check deffo, find another garage.
I paid £40 at a specialist cheaper than new tyres though.

Dont think bushes cause wear, sloppy ride yes, rattles yes
had those on my t2 when drop link was worn/broken.

Perhaps something bent, needs full laser check, due to weight
of these trucks many car tyre shops will fob off, atleast my
local was honest referred to another branch in their chain.

swap the front and rear tyres over to see if it makes a difference.if the tyre has worn uneven it will still pull to the left even though the tracking has been done.had a simular issue with my old terrano.
pain in the arse to set the tracking properly as there is alot of play in the steering linkage and most tyre places cant do it.
mine does it now and then when in 4wd when i let off the power but the surface you are driving on has to be slippy to allow the front wheels to turn properly as there is no diff on the front axle.

Sorry mate there is a diff in the front axle, you would find it hard to go round corners if there wasn't, Rick

measure the distance between the front wheels and 3 o clock position on the passenger
side this will be the front of the cill or mud flap if you still have them do this in 2wd then again in 4wd if its different then you have a bush gone. check the drivers side too obviously .

if not jack the front up and wiggle the front passenger wheel side to side. while someone is holding the drivers side you will likely find you can move the passenger side 20-30mm of play before any movement in the drivers side
that will be the idler and track rod ends gone
