Bit of advise for all you owners that still have their standard free wheeling hubs fitted...
BIN THEM AND BUY MANUALS!
The sheer number of people on this forum that are having problems with them, plus I had issues twice, so did KBEKL plus they have failed on tons of other cars I know... they are not worth bothering with!
I am an experienced off-roader of over 12 years and I have learnt that little nigly problems like that need permenently eliminating to make your truck 100% reliable!
Its at times like these when you need them to suddenly work after 1000's of miles of not being required the spring brakes! Always happens!
£150 from Millner gives you 100% piece of mind when you need 4x4 you'll have it!
It will take a couple of hours of frigging about with your old hub to repair it. Also once fixed they are never as reliable as new anyway! What is around £150 for permenent piece of mind and a lot less chance of becoming stranded in -5 degrees snow...
You may get them even cheeper if you shop around, and there is a breaker on ebay with about 50 Terrannos in stock, i'm sure he must have a used set about him...
