I would have thought, something wrong with the bed.Gap

Too big.Lol....

ALL quiet here now , Andy and Kaz left at lunch time, and we are almost back to normal now. Just got rid of the empty's to the bottle bank (just a few!!!) and I still have both my dogs (I think one wanted to come back to the UK with uncle Andy) It was a great week, and I will post up more photos soon, I'm sure Andy and Rick will also be putting some on.:thumb2

I was wondering if everyone got home ok..

although a day time crossing we booked a cabin as needed to catch up on sleep, and this is it, better than the bunk beds on the outgoing trip but that was all that was available at time of booking

So everyone, it was great to be away but nice to be home, the dogs went mad when we arrived bet they thought we had gone for ever, Rick

we left jonela`s on sunday 12pm and decided to extend our trip with a tour of northern france,

drove east towards normandy to look for any left over d day anniversary stuff,
saw lots of ex ww2 jeeps and trucks all heading for home,
we even ended in the middle of a convoy of them

then drove to agincourt to see the battle site and memorial,

then northeast into belgium, called in at adinkerke for the duty free,
was starting to get dark then so back into france and onto calais to catch a ferry back to england,

then dover up to yorkshire via the M1 sunday night/monday morning
arrived home at 7am monday morning exhausted and went straight to bed

total travel time was 18 hours (with the time difference),

so a great week was had and many thanks to john and Elaine for having us :clap
look forward to seeing when you come back to england

total distance for the week was 1606 miles
