if a lane is on private land, with legal right of way then isnt the
lane private too, so surely anything cutdown needs to be left
to side of track as property of owner.

just as you should return overhanging greenery to your neighbour?

beware of that on tree surgeons get caught out with that & dragged to court over a tree or even pruning/trimming a tree.

Did this again today with a saw, but some bugger already cut the big tree up by accessing from a field ! Anyway only went a 1/4 mile up it as it got really tight and was flooded and boggy and being on my own I didn't want to get stuck

So I managed to put camera on and turned round and drove out again

It was that tight it ripped me bloody snorkel top off

Need to go back with another truck behind and some decent shears to take it back in a couple of spots

Good to hear mine gets a bit of light off road action but gets more abuse from my three kids and two labs kids love climbing on it

4? pffft i have 6 kids and we manage just fine with the terrano, mind the oldest is 16 and prefers to go out with her m8s than us :lol
