Right then

I found an engine for my Terrano it,s the same type td27ti but it has the Zexel pump.I am guessing that I can remove the Zexel pump then fit my original Bosch pump from the damaged engine to the new engine(Then I can use my original wiring ) ,swap over the inlet manifold as mine doesn't have an egr valve (Just a blank)but do I need to swap over the injectors or not ??? and will I encounter any other obstacles. Most everything else seems identical even the turbo.

Thanks

Davw

Changing the pump makes sense
But
Stuff the EGR Valve in the bin :thumbs

No1 injector will need doing and any other sensors that look different. One will be the crank position sensor, not sure what else:augie
I guess in theory it should work.
Oh yeh, bin the egr :naughty

Certainly does ...there are a couple of lining up marks on the both pumps and cases so looks like I should be able to get it in near the same place on the new engine .I haven't taken a pump off before so don't know what hidden obstacles there will be.I am pretty sure my ole sprinter has the same type of fly by wire Bosch pump and when that was changed the fella didn't use any special tools and said when it was fitted it will either run perfect if you get it back in the same place or roppey as hell.

No1 injector as well then.

At least adjusting the fuel pump is easy :thumbs
