Formula 4x4 and 4X4 Accessories and tyres.

A little bird told me today that Formula 4x4 in Stafford, Now belongs to 4X4 Accessories and Tyres at Leeming Bar!.

Quite a big buy out i think as these two have always been the first choice when purchasing my add on bits.

I just love stainless and chrome bling!.

4X4 accessories .

After today’s episode i can see why they are expensive, 3 lots of postage per item sent!

I ordered some short wheel base side steps for my Terrano only to receive Long wheel base side steps via TNT, arrived around 2.30 ish signed for and the driver left.
Unwrapped to find the that they would not even fit along the sill without touching both front and rear wheels.

Rang 4X4 accessories and spoke to them and they firstly said it would now be Monday or Tuesday before any more could be delivered, Well, Was i impressed. :evil:
Right, had to accept that i am not going to see my new steps this week. Thought better check the fitting kit only to find that "U type" fixings are missing, So back on the phone to ask them to post the correct parts.

Later this afternoon, They rang back to say as it was there mistake they will be putting the side steps on a courier for delivery tomorrow.
So we will see.
Not sure if the correct fixings will arrive as i am not sure that they got the message in time.

Tell you something, This is the third mess up that they have made with my orders, Wrong wheel nuts with a brand new set of wheels and tyres, Took the best part of £500 for a bull bar from my bank to ring later the same day to say its out of stock, and now this today,

After today i may well look elsewhere for my accessories.

Is it just me or has anyone else suffered with them?.

Never tried, was scared off when I saw their prices.

Was a nice place to visit though at the open day last year but someone is paying for that flash showroom and I don't intend to be one of them.

I've never dealt with 4x4at but have with formula4x4 about 18 months ago & they were great very fast delivery & the postage for my spare wheel cover & window deflectors was about £8 IIRC & it was all wrapped up nicely & could'nt fault them :smile: just hope they don't go the same way as 4x4at :roll:

I've always used formula 4 and have been very pleased with them, don't think I've ever used 4x4at tho.

hi, i used them for bull bar and window deflecters for my maverick and friend got same for his frontera, no hassle guys couldnt be any nicer when we visited, Iam now looking at add ons for my pathfinder new front bar and rear bars, deflectors etc ,found the steps of frontera fit pathfinder so saved abit there when mate changed his frontera :lol: so does this mean our discount will carry over to parent company too ?????

Not sure whats going to happern now as we did get 10% from formula4x4 but not with 4x4AT,
Saying that i do know a member that told them he was a member of our club and got 10%,

So, I would ask when ringing.

Just keep asking and they may give in, or pm Scott at 4x4AT as he is a member on here.

For those who remember Formula 4x4 in Stone, Staffordshire, I drove past their old site today on the A34 at Stone, and the original site has been flattened, and in it's place is the start of a new Aldi.
