This is a new one on me and only just developed....had quite a puddle after the snow melted and another after the downpour yesterday....drivers footwell only....no obvious leakage around screen seal, no sunroof, drains in front of door are empty.

Water is squeaky clean so not from heater.

Anyone had this before I drag the hosepipe out? :(

could be your tenna man leaking, check if seat is wet, :lol, check under the plastic scuttle cover, i sealed both of the removable plates that allow access to the wipers i believe, what is the inner wing like for rust? :thumbs:naughty

I was going to say the inner wing too. My wife says try driving in wellies but she don't know where your from (where sheep are worried).

Getting a nice bit of water turning up in mine too but it seems to be condensation running down off the glass. Usually turns up after the cold when havn't used the vehicle for a few days. No sign of it when vehicle is in regular use. It seems mostly to be due to the sunroof but as you don't have one that's obviously not the source of your difficulty.

Inner wing is fine, its an 02 plate so only 7-8 yrs old.

I'll check the wiper area and let you know, otherwise I suppose its the watering can or hosepipe and stick me head up the dashboard :doh

i found ,mine was leaking from through a screw ? you can see it if you remove glove box and look up with a torch. At back of engine bay there is a black square plate with 4 screws holding it down iremoved plate and put a dab off silcone into each plastic nut and also resealed plate, not got that t2 now it was a 99 got an 05 now...the plate may have been under the plastic trim around wipers hope that helps

mine leaks via the engine bay. passenger side, near where the air con pipes go theres a round rubber thingy, mine leaked through there.

only had it onb pass side, but suposse driver possible.

get front mud flap off, and clean out cavity of mud
certainly on ns water would not escape downwards
so come over top of sill behind panel where bonnet
release is.. ok so this os but likely same issue. many
talk of coming down from under wiper area but that
air box area was dry when i tried.

watch out for sills themselves, they only drain via
hole in leading of rear arch, theres a wire sized hole
needs poking open regularly.

theres a similiar hole to poke behind front arch that
drains the the aforementioned cavity behind front
flap...BUT this can seem clear, but theres still a mud
ball hidden higher in cavity.
