i have to remove the front hub carriers to remove abs sensors both sheared off.says on the disc i need a special tool to undo wheelbearing lock nut.has anyone on here done it without tool and how please.
 
I think it's the same as auto locking hub bearing removal. Have a look at the downloads section. The disk removal workshop shows the hub nut removal without a special tool. Worth a look to see if it is the same as your's.

bit late for a reply on this but..... no special tolls required, just remove the locking ring (2 small screws) and then either a screwdriver and small hammer or I used a pair of long nosed pliers in the appropriate holes on the nut as it was not too tight.... call it a nut but it is a large threaded ring that holds the hub on

Thanks for that i got the mechanic to do it and drill out the old sensors.he only charged me £40.new sensors fitted waiting to road test after fuel tank swap today
