Just fitted a K&N air filter to my Terrano 2, 2.7 tdi, and performance improvement is immediately noticeable. Part no: E-9251. Bit of a squeeze to get it in, but otherwise fine. Hope mpg improves too...:

i always thought mpg droped with these.. is it worth buying a replacement k+n filter for mine next time its due |( will be a while yet).?

Mine defo made the engine breathe better and so easy to clean:thumbs
In theory it gives more MPG but I've done so many other things to the truck who knows:lol
Veggy is the best saver though:naughty

MPG will improve by a tiny amount. the filters let your engine breath so much better. youll notice a new engine note, and it will be more spritely, thats what I found anyway. mine wasnt a tight fit, more or less the same as the standard filter. for £35, its well worth it.

Just looked at the K&N site they don't do one for the 1995 Maverick/Terrano T2 2.7TD,
I don't really need one as I don't cover that many miles.
I understand some have fitted them, so do they go into the original filter housing, or do they have an induction kit?

K&N fitment

The filter I found fits into the standard housing, but was a fraction longer than the standard cardboard rubbish supplied by Nissan. Does go in with a bit of a squeeze. The international K&N website states it does not make one to fit, but searching in the UK found one listed, part number stated on my original thread. Best £35 you can spend on your truck!
