Due to the mass response for my request for a o/s front wing for my 98 Mav :lol:lol, what is the thought and anyone any idea how good the fiberglass wings offered on ebay are. [Sorry I don't know how to do a link] cheers Chris.

I think fibreglass body panels are a good idea personally ...... at least tin worm wont eat them

Yes they were the wings i was thinking of but delivery isn't until up to the 15th and we are away before then, can't find one for love nor money so spent most of yesterday bodging it up, got both wings and front bumper ready for paint today so next day off hopefully get some paint on:)

That was the bit of rust I thought I was dealing with until I took the plastic trim off, then I saw the horror of it.

Your first photee looks good compared to my n/s/f wing :lol

For some reason I can only put 1 pic on at a time. I had already started cutting the rot out before I took this picture, the other wing looked worse than the o/s one but wasn't as bad but I had a good n/s 1 so fitted that instead!! Sprayed the wings and another bumper as some scrote reversed into it, the almost finished repair!!

I need two wings. But as it was a farmers T2 there are quite a few dents about if you look carefully. Front bonnet lip in the middle, rear o/s post just near the door glass has a nasty dink in it as well. o/s/r plastics have been scuffed, apart from that it's perfect :lol
