anyone know of a programme to do this my all in one thingy and bt line dont get on it kills the broadband and i get shouted at by the kids an mrs for "messing around again!"

tar but thats a pain having to put card details in an that and having to remember to cancel after the 30day peroid!

things like that still exhist lol! dunno why the home hub or straight into socket gives grief with the all in one thingy

Picky sod :augie
Do you really need to send a "Fax" in the first place? Why not email?

are you using an adsl filter? and do you have a filter on every main BT socket?

its a nissan hardbody i bought of ebay about 8mths ago turned out nicked 4 yrs ago so ins comp own they cant/wont deal by email there asking £1967 inc vat for it 2004 model, thing is i put 4 alloys on it and a cannopy plus did load work to it for mot so i only wanna give half that and to royal mail em and then wait takes a week and im impatient fooker lol an to cap it all theyve took bloody thing to edinbergh, ive had to stop it going to auction once if i hadnt looked on webpage itd been sold the next day! rbs/direct line uslesss!

the adsl filter has gone 100mph up garden after i bought three after bt kept telling me it was faulty and was giving me dial up speeds!

without the adsl filter, picking up the phone will screw up the broadband, so will faxing etc. You need a decent filter on every BT socket in the house.

another point, have they asked you to take the main socket apart yet, and do stuff with it? if they havent, they should, the problem could be the main socket...

what bhave they asked you to fax? email constitutes a legal document these days so it should be fine, unloess thewy refuse to accept it.

have you not got a scanner?

they wont use email point blank refusal, fax or snail mail very frustrating i got two of those scan, fax, copy print things but it messed all tinternet up and i got rollockings all round and sent to bed with no tea lol.
ive even got two different phone numbers off bt ones sommat to do with tinternet others normal but even unplugging hub and pluggin fax into socket at wall did no good!

again, filter. filter has a phone/fax socket on it, plus a socket for your router. job done.

one will be your HubPhone which is an internet IP phone with free calls after 6pm to other IP phones.

If you haqve a scanner you just scan the document as a jpeg and attach it to your email??

there refusing email corespondence fax, telephone(passed around the options lol) or snail mail (which gets re directed to a secret location, well rm refuse to tell me so i can send it direct!)

Local office centre or school or business or neighbour or... the list of options is endless ,then check filters etc. while waiting their response. Should add, whichever you use, office centre, school etc., check if they will allow the insurance company to reply to their fax machine. Been there, done that etc.

Go to the post office or a paper shop some time you can fax from there, have you a friend in a business could they fax for you , some library fax.

illy

I have faxed with my all in one printer, scanner, fax Lexmark X5495
You have to spend some time setting up the "Printer" from the computer, then I unplug the main phone from the ADSL socket and plug it in there... Works for me.

Receiving will be a different matter though, you will need to know a few minutes before hand that it is coming in, ours is further complicated by having an answer phone on the incoming line.

In the last 5 years I have sent 3 faxes, wow..... I prefer to scan and email.
Regards,
Rustic.

rbs/direct line uslesss!

I'll go with that, they wouldn't let me fit a second battery under the bonnet, as it was an unapproved modification.

Good job I checked before fitting it........:doh
