I have owned various cars over the years which suffer faded plastic trim and tried various products over the years. Best one I have found is actually peanut oil! Doesn't seam to work on the rear light plastic surrounds though. Has anyone got any other suggestions?

I've just painted mine, used this stuff over some plastic primer :thumb2 I'll post some pics up later :)

I have used "armour all" spray, matt or gloss, but you need to apply several applications over several days, then keep on top of it.

However, our 21 year old Mav spends most of it's life in a warm dark dry garage, but works for me.:thumb2

Magic Black Stuff in a tube !

Local paint bodywork shops use a black paste like substance that comes in a small tube but I have failed so far to establish where to buy it as the last part used tube I was given had no maker on it. They use it on black window trim bits and it has some sort of dye in it.

I tend to use "Back to Black" or Olive oil on some surfaces. I guess linseed oil is better.

Never honest :D left my head in it too long yesterday tho, burned me bald patch, the pain when the hot water in shower hit it was quite unlike anything I'd felt before :lol:doh

You should have taken advice from this warning.
Uncle Rustic.
