Looks like stabilisers to me... Something to lean on when it falls over...

Don't these people know there is a weight limit on your roof for lots and lots of very good reason, and even more so, when off roading!!!! :doh

I actually know the bloke who's truck that is, his name is mel, very nice bloke, the crate is actually a crate a real one :lol can't remember what its off, as for the weight theres not alot to it, its all 1" box iirc and can be picked up by one person
