I have to take it all back, the weather forecasters were right... Snowmagedan struck here last night... I woke up at 4am, nothing, then at 7am I was wondering if we would be able to get out the front door.

It was blizzarding, so badly, visibility must have been down to 4 or 5 miles, and I thought I may need some major Snow shovelling just to get to the car.

Once there, I am pleased to report that the T2 started with out a hiccup, and drove the 3 miles to the train station and back with out so much as a slip from the wheels in 2 wheel drive the the way, despite my wife pleading the whole journey that it might just be safer to take a "Snow Day". I explained "Us Real" 4x4's had to show the rest, and get through, so we carried on regardless of all the Chelsea Tractors with their Yummy Mummy's scattered on the grass kerbs, hundreds of kids in tow.

It was touch or go on the train front, but after a company meeting, they decided this apparently this was the "Right type of Snow", and they would just run the trains... late... rather than cancelling them.

So just to show you how bad it was...

heavy snow now here and Bradford, and what narks me off, is my 4x4 is sat in the back garden minus two wings and a front bumper.

:lol:lol I know... It's just behind that massive snow drift...:doh

Good luck putting the car back together... Might as well as long as it is not all off for the MOT, and enjoy it in it's true environment.:D

Coming down now here in mid-wales, sticking too which I am surprised by as the ground was very wet.

Going out for a play in a few mins.

I reckon when it comes its going to be BIBLICAL :D

Oh, also going round my mates garage this afternoon to bang my replacement driveshaft on

Just in time :)

It's been a bit shit here in stoke ffs

Apparently blizzards at lunch time ... I won't hold my breath

We have a bit, but nothing serious.
I see the schools are shutting like chain stores...we are growing a generation of wimps, when I was at school, it didn't shut until it went over your ankles, when it did, we still had to stay on.
These days, they shut schools, just in case it gets bad FFS:doh:doh

Side roads and pavements have 1cm or so here in Walsall, Main roads unaffected but it is coming down quite heavy now

Here's a picture out of the office window as this thread is seriously lacking pictures!!!
