I have a list of spares for my October trip to Morocco and need some help in locating where they can be bought. These include
1. Auxiliary Drive Belts
2. Coolant Hoses
3. Bulb Kit
I have tried Milner and other websites but have struggled - probably through incompetence. I also want to make sure I carry enough replacement oil, fluids so any advice on what I need and what quantity would be very useful. Vehicle is almost ready now so will try to provide some photographs if any one is interested in seeing it.
Thank you

Try Japanese 4x4 spares, I've used them a few times and much cheaper than milners. Also call them for a better pric too.:clap

You are much better off visiting your local motor factors, they will source all those bits for you and you have the availability of checking if they are correct against what is on your motor, if any prove wrong they will exchange for the correct at no cost to you, it is all down to you just supplying your reg no and their database will give correct part, most times but if wrong it is down to them, online and you could have hassle as well as return postage cost, Rick

As for oils, I would carry 5lt engine oil, 1lt dot4 brake fluid, 1lt power steering fluid and of course you will have water, the engine oil will double as diff and gearbox oil with little side effects till you can change them and fix the leak, if you have a bad brake/clutch leak use WATER, but be ware it boils quickly so keep your speed/heavy braking down, but water will not harm your system, anything else will, this is a short term fix only few days at the most then fix the leak and flush with new dot 4 several times, Rick

If it's a 4.2d Troll then 10lt of engine oil may be needed. When I serviced mine I had about 1lt left from 10:eek:

Thanks

Very helpful replies. I am grateful. My incompetence doesn't stop at searching websites it also crosses over into technology. I will seek help in loading photographs. I am very pleased about what has been done to the Patrol.

Where to in Morocco are you heading? Will also be driving trough there next year, so looking forward to hear about your experiences!

Where to in Morroco

We will be heading through the Rif Mountains and across the Rekkam Plateau. visiting the frontier town of Figuig, a former border crossing point with Algeria. We then follow the border travelling on one of the classic pistes from the Paris-Dakar rally spending several nights wild camping in the Sahara. What time are you travelling next year. If there is any specific information you want please let me know

The first thing that you'll need to do is have your photos hosted somewhere like Flickr, Picasa, Photbucket or Imgur or whoever is you choice of host.

Once hosted, you should see an option for sharing.

Choose the HTML option or the option listed for forums (this might take a bit of trial an error as they are called different thing on different hosting sites).

Copy the provided link over here.

Press preview & it should be done.
