Well, we had a nice few days away with our caravan, left on Friday and on arrival at the site, I noticed the exhaust tail pipe was sitting at a rather jaunty angle, I had a quick look and yes, it had almost come apart at the rear of the main box.
Got home today, the guy at the garage up the road ordered me a new centre box and rear piece for £124 inc gasket and clamp :thumb2
Fitted it this afternoon and now have a nice new system.
The old one was the original system...Nissan and dated 12/04
These trucks are so easy for access

gotta get under mine middle box shafted got the tail pipe in the shed with part of the middle box still attached. the bit that goes over the axle snapped off 2 weeks after mot got advisory at the time for slight leak:nenau

I had the front pipe done last year so it was just a case of unbolting the hangers and the middle flange joint, I just ran the car up onto 2 large lumps of timber at the back, it give you a bit more room to get the pipe over the axle.
Spray plenty of WD40 or the like on all the bolts before hand
