Exhaust 2.4 petrol

Hi all, even tho my maveric is on the road and being used frequently it is at from ready or upto the standard I would like. The exhaust is pretty knackered right from the manifold which has a crack in it right thru to the back box. Now where would u recommend I get one from? I've had a good look online and the ones I can see r so expensive ! (Mines s swb 2.4) thanks

solarman 216 ( rick ) may have some second hand bits for your 2.4 , maybe even a zorst manifold .:nenau

So yours is cracked, is it blowing from the crack? if not I would not worry my work motor has been cracked for over two years and still going strong, if yours is blowing then I have a manifold that is cracked but not blowing if you are interested or cncfabs may have a un cracked one, as for the rest yes milners, Rick

Hi rick, yeah it's blowing and also there is a pipe just below it that goes into the engine that is blowing badly. Ill grab some pics!

i bought a complete system off ebay for my lwb for £98 i will look up the seller its a decent made bit of kit replaced my 2inch custom noisey one which was starting to rot over the rear axle

just done a quick search for a new manifold for the 2.4 ..... £364.89 !!!!!!..... you could try cnc fabs or Nissan first in welshpool tho:thumb2

that is the EGR pipe bin it and weld the hole, try cncfabs first for a good manifold if he cannot help then maybe my one will do, Rick

i bought some blanking plates for my egr valves in the bighorn from e bay ..... he does them for other makes / models too ..... i think his name is bertye 58 or summat like that

On the petrol it is different Pete it screws direct into the manifold on a sleave nut, if you can get the nut undone????? then you can remove the pipe and use a coin as a blank, but if not weld is the best on the remains of the stainless pipe, Rick

Hi all, thanks for all your help! I've rang online autosport (01543 410503) as daveandclaire have recommended as u couldn't see one on there eBay shop. Had a chat with the bloke who rang me back within 5 mins with a price of £99 delivered for the whole exhaust - the cat. So I'm happy thanks
