Did some of this today. Got lost around wetton trying to do wetton valley, just wasn't where map said it was. Almost ended up stuck against a drystone wall all 4 wheels spinning in middle of nowhere ( enduro ht on back with erm... 3 mm tread, I must be nuts ) but saved it and went back way I came.

That's the one, was absolutely flooded and I was sliding all over the place on my slicks

Tbh it was pretty suicidal to go out blind with the whole family in this torrential rain, lesson learned, next time I'm going with you guys

Also need decent tyres ASAP, snorkel as well

tbh that middleton lane is a easy one, maybe you was rushing a bit come out with me and kamsin we'll get ya heart pumping :lol

Yeh it was easy, conditions weren't as its pissed down for 24 hrs solid and my slick road tyres meant no grip whatsoever

We used to be able to drive the Ridge way down here but do to idiots riding and driving much to fast for the conditions...walkers and horse riders, the men in suits decided to shut it to all vehicles:doh:doh

I was poodling along there one day at about 5 to 10 mph when 4 bike riders went flying past doing at least 40mph into a blind bend, when I got to the bend, there were a group of walkers and they were quite pissed off as they had nearly been mown down by the bikes.
Only takes a few to spoil it for the rest
