Have you looked in the tank at the sender/swirl pot ?

u've done maf, crank sensor

What about the actual fuel pump ? or a component inside it ?

But what is code 95 as it doesnt appear in the code chart in the manual

as Briggie says, have you cleared the codes, then gone for a long enough drive to let the engine warm up?

yes, codes were cleared.

car still behaves as it did before

intermittent loss of power

code 95 is ckp as well as code 47

Sounds like mine before i had new diesel pump.got different codes replaced all parts you have. turned out to be diesel pump rotary. the distributor was clogged with cooking oil which had built up from getting hot then cooling. bit like the crud builds up on a deep fat frier.

Another good reason to run Bio :thumbs
Could be time to source a pump from a scrapper

have you tried primer pump on top of fuel filter maybe drawing a bit of air.

as i recall, 95 is over boost, was on 3.0 patrol

which shouldnt exist on 2.7, but recall another
2.7 owner has encountered it too

just googled it and the Oz troll site gives

0905 Intake air pressure sensor

There's a list of generic Nissan codes here: http://forum.difflock.com/viewtopic.php?t=66515&sid=32ef073261ac9ffc0c14a480d34d289d

It gives 47 as Crankshaft Position Sensor and 95 as Crank Position Cog.

You've swapped the sensor but have you traced and checked the wiring for any breaks? You may have to check continuity while waggling the wires to find any breaks under the insulation.

The engine moves about a surprising amount while driving and if a wire is breaking up then it may only be breaking connectivity when the engine twists into a particular place.

I am totally aware that this thread is almost as old as me but did you ever get this sorted zippy

I've got 47 and 95, replaced CKP sensor and still got the same issue, how do I go about checking the continuity of the sensor?

Should be around 1500 ohms mate, but also test it hot/heating up as that is when they go out, Rick

Thats the Zexel CKP on the front of the engine Rick, mine is Bosch setup and should be 900 ohms at 25 degrees C. On the bell housing on top of the gearbox

My CKP was reading 1005 but the spare I just fitted was fine before I removed from the car and reads 928, I've fitted it, cleared the fault codes but car is going into limp mode whenever I try to accelerate from stationary.

Once the key is flicked off and on, the car is fine again and moves like it should until I become stationary again :doh

matters little, it is a coil of wire around a magnet, which sends a blip back to the ECU 900 ohms 2000 ohms the result is the same a little blip, you have something else going on there, I am lead to believe that there is a timing sensor in the pump and it may well be this that is your problem, Rick

Yes new ckp sorted it out

Ooh, think I changed maf as well.

Could try that.
Winner!!!! Just popped a spare Bosch MAF I have in the spares box and all is well again.

That's crazy how a faulty MAF can throw up 2 codes for a sensor that's it's nowhere near!!!! Granted the 2 components are inextricably linked but just goes to show with this diagnosis malarkey that it's not always black and white.

I owe you now zips sir!!!!
