OK guys I'm in the deep end again
I have the Black Pearl's new engine in bits prior to to it's full power rebuild.
It's been lying around a while by the looks and some water has made it's way down open valves. Not much but I'd like your opinions. I can feel it with my finger but I'm not sure what's best to remove it. I'm trying to avoid a crank rebuild too :lol
I loobed it all before turning the crank,which it does smoothly.
Piston tops look good
I'm also wondering now as I have the head off are there really any meaningful gains available porting and polishing ?
Cam reprofiling ? I have this info from my T2 engine tuning friend in Italy.
Any top tips Rick ?
This engine TDi is getting a manual pump swap . Is there any benefit from fitting Bosch injectors instead of the Zexel ones ?
