PS. Never heard that i should actually put oil in the filter as well when changing??

It just saves the engine doing a hundred revs or so on dryish bearings before the oil gets there, Rick

yes, i put oil in the filter too, and also around the rubber gasket so it seals properly

Oil on the rubber seal i am familiar with, but never thought of prepping the filter though
