Popped up earlier whilst me and the missus were driving. Not restricted or anything.

Turned off and on again n now its gone. Were gonna be driving for an hour or so. Will report again :nenau

Often comes on if you start the car before all warning lights have gone off especially abs, which on mine takes a few secs more.

Mine usually pops on and doesn't record a code if I start the car before the AirBag light goes out

Mine was flagging the light up but since blocking off the EGR touch wood it's been fine but think my mini filter is also over due a clean:doh

Well this was spotted after we were on the a40. Truck was already warm as we had driven to black park. Walked the dog and stopped at shops (engine still running) no light then, once on the a40 near home i noticed it was on, was doing about 80/85 so not restricted or anything. Turned it off n on again no light on, been out 3 times since and no light on touch wood. :thumb2

My mav used to do it every time you stalled it and then started it straight away.
Turn it off and start after hearing the relay click and it was fine.

Hmm makes me wonder if i did anything. Although I was driving without the light for about 15 mins first.

Come to think of it on Saturday i did spray wd40 on the block connectors underneath. When will I learn to leave it alone

if the mil has been on , then a fault code will be stored ...... check codes

Mine has been coming on for years. Rev counter stops but give it a rev and all is well again for a day or two.

Get the EGR blanked off anyway better to shut it down whilst it's working than faffing on once it plays up just shove a ball bearing into the vacuum at the EGR job done:thumbs

sorry not good enough the damn valves stick open, blocking the vac operation will make no difference to a jambed open valve, Rick

Sorry to jump on this one a bit, does the 3.0Di (55 plate) have a EGR valve that I can blank off.
Any idea where I should look fo rit on the 3.0 front back engine block, under I/cooler?
Still new to the Terrano and finding my way about it.

Your right:thumb2 mine was just starting to stick so pumped a load of WD40 into the top of it where the vac pipe go's & it seemed to free up & shut so stuck the bearing in
