Hello all.. this happened to me last week and again just now, the car seems to slow like a foot is on the brake only briefly and the engine light comes on and goes out again..any ideas..thanks

is the truck under load when it happens? if so i'd start by changing the fuel filter

Thanks for the reply, i just changed the fuel filter 15 miles ago, i am running 20 ltrs wvo to 14 ltrs diesel.. maybe more diesel??

Get your tenner paid and check out the downloads section. There's a quick easy way of reading your fault codes with nothing more than a paper clip. Also there are instructions regarding the mini filter and banjo bolt.

By chance someone has just fixed a similar issue to yours and fixed it today, sorry to bang on about it but the thread is in the members area tho.

Download area has how to read coades with paper clip.

Ur not far from me either um in wiltshire

One thing.
change fuel line to clear, could be sucking air.

After filter to pump section.

Thanks for the replies but i have poured way too much money into this car..time for ebay i think.. anybody have an older model peugeot 406 estate for sale ??
