electronic rust protection??

evening all, anyone seen these units advertised or experience of them? seems the terrano has a bit of a rep for having more perforations than a tea bag...one of the reasons i dismissed a td5
i would like to keep mine solid and saw these things available for marine equipment. anyone shed any light? thank you, mike

I saw the same things, and asked the same Q. While they have great 'testimonials' the general consensus is a load of rubbish.

yes load of rubbish, just like the change from positive earth cars to negative, made no difference at all to rust, Rick
