Electronic aerial

The electric aerial has gone up the chute this afternoon it dont go up and down anymore, the motor still runs and it seems that its come adrift on the gearing side, anyone ever taken one apart and repaired it or is it a bin it job and find a cheap replacement????

I have taken a couple apart, ended up binning them anyway, plastic gears and bits that just fall to bits, Rick
